Kim Kardashian is giving props to her plant-based lifestyle for keeping her psoriasis at bay.
On Thursday, the 41-year-old entrepreneur shared on her sister Kourtney’s Poosh lifestyle blog that following a vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diet has been key in managing her chronic skin condition. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that causes red, scaly patches to form on the skin.
“I haven’t had a flare-up in over four years and I attribute that to my healthy diet,” Kim wrote. “Whenever I deviate from it, even if it’s just one meal, I see a difference in my skin.”
Of all the foods she eats regularly, Kim says vegan tacos are her favorite. She typically fills them with lentils or black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and sometimes rice. Yum!
